Lake Edenwold Association

Our community was formed in 1926 as an “Association” to maintain, improve and protect the community, its property and the rights of its Members. Resident Members homes were set by original boundary maps, and all residents were to enjoy all privileges and voting rights; privileges including full use of both lakes, all surrounding properties and recreational facilities.

The Association boundary originally consisted of 105 properties, which paid a yearly fee for taxes, maintenance and insurance to benefit the entire Association. These benefits included swimming, fishing, boating and hiking. 

Decades later, those same benefits are still valid. There is a great, refreshing summer swimming season just within walking distance of members homes, and three seasons to fish and boat at the lower lake.  The lower lake is filled with sunnies, bass, pickerel, crappies, rainbow and brown trout. You can also spend time with your kids, grand kids or the “kid in you” feeding the resident ducks. The walkways and paths around the lakes have been improved and you can walk or stroll 365 days a year. Explore the stream and cascades in the woods on the forest nature trail or watch the ever changing mood of the waterfall on the lower lake from the bridge. Experience the thunderous rush of water after a heavy spring rainfall or watch as icicles form during our winter season. Find a quiet spot to sit and enjoy the natural beauty of your neighborhood...just as the original property owners imagined when it was established 94 years ago.

These privileges are shared by all the members of the Association. Our Community is for active paying members only - it is Private Property – No Trespassing!  All members must wear badges. Non-members are not allowed to walk on Lake property, which includes the upper and lower lakes, and all surrounding paths and trails.
